This is a print of my original painting.

The prints are 8"x10", plus a 1/2" white border.

About the painting:
To me this painting is (one of) the visual expressions of the effects of childhood abuse, trauma and CPTSD. I've been working on this one for a while, both internally, as well as on paper. It's a little nerve wracking to put something so vulnerable out there into the world. But it's not something I can keep to myself, either, so here we are!
To quote Nate Postlethwait :
"Never underestimate the cycle breaker. Not only did they experience years of generational trauma, but they stood in the face of that trauma and said "This ends with me." This is brave. This is powerful. This comes at a significant cost. Never underestimate a cycle breaker."
There is a lot of symbolism in this painting, each element there to represent some of the symptoms, cost and struggles... as well as some of the healing. 

All prints are professionally printed on hot press paper. The paper is an acid-free, 100% cotton, single-side coated paper showing a natural white finish, printed using the Canon Lucia inks due to their superior archivability and increased color range.
